an exploration of different ways of living, redefining money and new economic models that have worked or are already working,
an exercise of training our imagination to picture a better future and start designing from this untangled, freer vision
the work of designing with our own blueprint and planting the first seeds of: a business, a project, a practice rooted in regeneration ꩜ work that gives more to life than it takes, including ours.
Imagination will be the skill walking us through this Field, so we will need to train it accordingly:
like a muscle, like a discipline that is required to explore this fun and challenging journey . Regenerative work is our destination. The Field’s curriculum will get us there.
the journey
This curriculum moves in three parts: two modules to untangle, two to reimagine, one to apply.
1. The Extractive Logic & Where We Are
Where we name and analyze the blueprint. How land became property, work became productivity, and one number came to stand in for the health of an entire economy (GDP I’m looking at you).
2. Anchor to Ground
Back to the body and the seasons. Biomimicry, natural rhythm, somatic work and tools for the moments the old system tries to pull you back into its pace.
3. Other Worlds Are Possible
Inspiration and study from alternatives: doughnut economies, gift and circular models, cooperatives, and the Indigenous and Latin American cosmovisions that got here first.
4. The Art of Reimagining
The gym for the imagination muscle. Why alternatives feel unimaginable even once you understand them, and practices to train past that, consistently and resiliently. Collective imagination is our best tool!
5. Bussines Lab
All that you (un)learned and reimagined applied to your project: how the money moves, what you measure, who you build with, and how you tell the story without extractive marketing habits. You will end with a first working business model to take into the world.
This is hard work, so we will also learn how to build a resilient nervous system that can keep walking through the complex, paradoxical times that we are living through, mending this world into the one we want to be.
Your project and your vision IS important, it is a fractal that echoes through the whole system.
